This 16th-century castle, now a luxurious 4-star hotel, is situated on 24 hectares between Ambroise and Tours in the heart of the Loire castle area and the Vouvray vineyards. Guestrooms are located in 2 separate buildings, the castle and the Pavilion de l'Horloge. All rooms in the castle are uniquely decorated with authentic period furniture and are equipped with double or twin beds, direct-dial phones, satellite TV and marble bathrooms with separate toilets. Rooms in the Pavilion de l'Horologe have been made slightly more modern but maintain the same authentic style as the castle. These rooms are air-conditioned and have Balneo bathtub and shower, PC connection and a small private garden. The restaurant at the castle has two dining rooms that can accommodate 30 and 20 guests respectively. There is also a terrace and a lounge for enjoying an aperitif before dinner. The restaurant features gourmet regional cuisine made with the freshest seasonal products and offers the best wines from the Loire Valley.
